Manta Queen 7 offers great-value 4-day scuba liveaboard diving trips to Richelieu Rock & The Similan Islands. The boat is very popular, and its prices mean it will surely be even more popular among divers who want to see Thailand's best dive sites without spending more than necessary.

Starting with the free pickup service from Khao Lak or Phuket, guests are transported to the dive centre for check-in and equipment fitting. The trip sails at night and then early the next morning you can really immerse yourself in the best dive sites in Thailand. The boat underwent a major renovation during the summer of 2018, ensuring that each cabin, the dive platform and places to hang out and socialize are all in top condition. There’s also plenty of space to chat in pairs or groups, or read a book and/or top up your tan.

Manta-Queen-7-Sun-deckGuests can choose to stay in one of the en suite cabins, the standard twin/double cabin or get the very-best value by sleeping in the four-bunk cabin. All are clean and air-conditioned. Delicious meals are served throughout the day and there are snacks and fruits available at all times. The crew and diving staff are on hand to help and serve guests throughout the trip, and the facilities are excellent. This includes a motorized tender dinghy with is used to retrieve divers and to transport anyone to one of the pristine beaches on these uninhabited tropical islands.

Nitrox fills are available, as are several PADI courses, from Open Water up to speciality courses. For the best value and quality diving in Thailand, there is very little to compete with Manta Queen 7’s trips from Khao Lak to The Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock & The Surin Islands.

Please note that these trips are 4D/4N, but some websites show them as 6D/5N, 5D/5N or 5D/4N which is incorrect and misleading. Maybe they do this to make the 'daily rate' look better or because their websites are out of date. Manta Queen 7 departs in the evening and returns in the afternoon four days later. The trips for 2023-2024 are 4D/4N with up to 15 dives.

Itinerary

Booking / Enquiry

Manta Queen 7 has 4D/4N 15-dive trips. Some websites mislead you by claiming the trips are 6D/5N, 5D/4N or 5D/5N but this is not true. The boat departs in the evening, and then returns in the afternoon four days later.

After guests are picked up or meet at the dive centre, everyone is taken to the boat in the evening. A light meal is served on board, and the diving begins the next morning.

A detailed itinerary for MQ7 is below.

The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.

Just got back from a great dive trip with MQ7. The boat crew and diving guides were amazing and very friendly. I was in a group with Brendan and he was able to find all the cool big and little things on the dives some were firsts for me like a leopard shark and Harlequin shrimps. I decided to get my nitrox certification during the trip and it was totally worth it for longer bottom times and feeling better after multiple dives. I would highly recommend MQ7 for a great value for the money.

We had a very good time aboard Manta Queen 7. Jamie was extremely helpful all the way and made sure that everything works out. The boat was as expected, the crew took very good care of us and the food was amazing. We were a bit unlucky with the instructor who was assigned to us as she did not seem to care much about showing us stuff or about problems we had with the equipment, so we took care of asking other members of the di ving staff and our problems were addressed immediately. Aside from her the trip was truly amazing and we will definitely come again. 🙂🙂😊
