MV Sunshine is a well-established Red Sea liveaboard offering relaxed yet rewarding dive safaris across some of Egypt’s most iconic underwater destinations. Designed with divers in mind, this comfortable vessel combines practical dive facilities with a warm, social atmosphere, making it a great choice for both first-time liveaboard guests and experienced Red Sea regulars. With space for up to 20 guests, the boat never feels overcrowded, allowing everyone to enjoy the diving and onboard life at an easy pace.

Accommodation on board is simple, comfortable and functional. The cabins are air-conditioned and arranged across the lower and upper decks, each with twin beds, en-suite bathrooms and sufficient storage space for personal belongings. Cabins are cleaned regularly, and the overall layout is designed to make life onboard easy between dives, meals and rest periods. After a full day underwater, guests can relax indoors in the spacious salon, which provides a comfortable setting for briefings, meals, socialising or simply cooling off during the warmer parts of the day.

The main social heart of the boat extends outdoors to the sun deck, where divers can unwind between dives, enjoy the sea breeze or watch the sun rise and set over the Red Sea. This open space is ideal for relaxing with a drink, reading a book or chatting with fellow guests while cruising between dive sites. The atmosphere onboard MV Sunshine is friendly and informal, helped by an experienced crew who are attentive without being intrusive and always happy to help.

Diving operations are efficient and well organised, with a large dive deck offering ample space for gear storage, preparation and entry. The boat supports multiple dives per day, including night dives where conditions allow, and Nitrox is available for certified divers. MV Sunshine runs a variety of itineraries, covering famous northern routes such as Ras Mohamed, the Straits of Tiran and classic Red Sea wrecks, as well as southern itineraries known for dramatic reefs, strong currents and the chance of pelagic encounters. Expect colourful coral gardens, steep walls, schooling fish and occasional sightings of dolphins, turtles and larger species depending on the route and season.

Meals are served buffet-style and provide a mix of local Egyptian dishes and familiar international favourites, ensuring plenty of choice after a day of diving. Snacks, fruit and hot drinks are available throughout the day, keeping energy levels up between dives. Dietary requirements can usually be accommodated with advance notice.
