Spirit of Maldives

The Spirit of Maldives is a modern luxury liveaboard that has quickly become one of the most talked-about vessels in the region. Launched in late 2024, this large & luxurious yacht was purpose-built to bring divers and ocean lovers closer to the very best of the Maldives. Measuring 40 metres in length and 13 metres wide, the Spirit of Maldives is built for stability and comfort. Up to 26 guests are welcomed across 13 comfortable cabins, all designed with a contemporary style that feels more like a boutique hotel than a traditional dive boat. On the lower deck, there are seven standard cabins, while the main deck and upper deck feature a mix of standard cabins and spacious suites. Each one has air-conditioning & ensuite bathrooms, offering guests everything they need for a private retreat after a day in the water.

The communal areas on board are equally impressive. Guests can relax in the stylish indoor lounge, enjoy a drink at the bar, or dine on freshly prepared meals in the main restaurant. A library offers a quiet corner for reading, while photographers benefit from a dedicated camera area with space for gear maintenance. Outdoors, there are shaded decks for lounging, as well as a spacious sun deck with loungers and a Jacuzzi, the perfect spot to take in panoramic views of the Indian Ocean or enjoy the evening sky after dinner.

Diving is the main attraction, and operations run smoothly thanks to a dedicated dhoni support boat. This allows all dive gear, compressors, and tanks to be kept off the main vessel, giving more comfort and space for guests onboard. Certified divers enjoy free Nitrox, and rental equipment is available. Itineraries showcase the best of Maldivian diving: colourful coral reefs, exciting channel dives, and encounters with manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, and schooling fish. Safety is a priority, with comprehensive systems including fire detection, life rafts, CO₂ monitors, and highly trained staff to support every dive.

Life onboard goes beyond diving. Guests can take part in beach barbecues on uninhabited islands, guided village visits to learn about local culture, or simply spend time relaxing with new friends in the comfortable social areas. Dining is buffet-style and varied, with fresh ingredients and a mix of international dishes and Maldivian flavours. Vegetarian and special dietary requests are easily catered for.

Prices & Schedule

All itineraries and dive sites are subject to change due to factors such as weather conditions or Maldivian Government regulations. While Spirit Liveaboards strives to follow the planned schedule, diving at specific sites cannot be guaranteed. In the event of adverse weather, the captain and dive guides will make the final decisions to ensure the safety of guests, crew, and the vessel. If dives are missed or certain sites cannot be visited due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, no refunds or compensation will be provided.
