Lucky Marine is an excellent-value Similan liveaboard, designed to take up to 23 diving guests. The boat is 27 metres long, with two decks above the water for all guest cabins and communal areas. There are 12 guests cabins and a large lounge saloon, all of which are fully air conditioned. Plus there's a large sundeck, dive platform and a sheltered outdoor dining area. During the high season Lucky Marine offers 4D/4N trips to The Similan Islands & Richelieu Rock. Then during the summer months, the boat goes south from Chalong in Phuket to local dive sites, including Racha Islands and (when open) Koh Phi Phi.
The upper deck has two Deluxe cabins, the lounge saloon and outdoor socialising zone. Plus there's a seating area at the front for sunbathing, reading or just enjoying the view.
The boat's main deck has the diving platform, and the rest of the guest cabins. Here there are four more Deluxe cabins, both Master cabins and the budget cabins. Master and Deluxe cabins have private en suite bathrooms and independently-controlled air conditioning. The budget cabins share bathrooms and are cooled by central air conditioning. Actually, for regular join-in trips, there's usually no more than 23 guests on board, but if you want to charter the whole boat, you could fit up to 29 diving guests.
Plenty of delicious food is served throughout the day, and is a blend of Asian and western cuisine. the dive deck is well designed and the crew fill your tanks silently between dives. Everyone on board is service minded and experienced.
Finally, the boat offers Nitrox fills for free for all divers who are certified, and there are usually DPVs for free use as well.

Itinerary
During the high season from October to May Lucky Marine Liveaboard offers 4D/4N trips to The Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock. The boat leaves from Tab Lamu Pier in Khao Lak in the evening, and the first full day's diving starts the following morning at The Similan Islands. During the trip, you sail further north up to Richelieu Rock, and then back south to finish at Koh Bon and a couple of local wrecks.
In the low season (June to September) the boat offers 2D/1N overnight trips from Chalong in Phuket to the Racha and Phi Phi Islands.

The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.

PADI courses are available on Lucky Marine Liveaboard. The Advanced Open Water diver course is the most-commonly chosen course on liveaboards.

Transfer details
4D/4N Lucky Marine Liveaboard guests are collected free of charge from the local area (hotels and Phuket airport) during the afternoon and evening of the first day of the trip. Then at the end of the trip, guests are taken to local hotels.
2D/1N trips have free scheduled transfers from southern Phuket areas.
All transfers are at set times and shared with other guests.
Guests who are unable to meet the scheduled pick ups or would like private transportation are welcome to contact us to arrange a private taxi at the most competitive rates.
