At 27 metres in length, MV Camic is a typical-size liveaboard boat which visits the Similan Islands & Richelieu Rock. The boat has earned a reputation as something a bit special for its delicious food. The mouth-watering meals are something to look forward to throughout the diving day. This includes Thai and western cuisine, served buffet style.

There are two cabin types to choose from. These are the master cabins which have a double bed, and the twin-bunk cabins that have two single beds. All have private en suite bathrooms & air conditioning. For some private charter trips there is also the option of a standard twin cabin that shares the boat's communal bathrooms, thus increasing guest capacity to 16. There is a covered communal area where the delicious meals are enjoyed. On the top and at the front of the boat are areas for guests to enjoy the sea breeze, sunbathe, gaze at star-filled skies or watch out for jumping dolphins.

Dive-deck-On-Board-MV-CamicTrips used to be 'flexible' meaning that divers could join on any day. But now Camic only offers fixed-schedule trips which visit The Similans, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock and The Surin Islands in the high season. Plus during the 'Green Season' there are trips from Pak Bara in the deep south that go to Koh Lipe for 3D/3N. Please note that these trips are also shown by other websites to be 5D/4N and 4D/3N, which is incorrect and misleading.

There is time to relax and really get into the fun diving, or even take part in a PADI dive course to increase your certification and experience. PADI courses on Camic are unbeatable value. In fact, excellent value is pretty much what MV Camic trips are all about. Air-conditioned comfort and safe diving are all that many people need, without breaking the bank on expensive luxuries. Camic's itineraries sometimes change from one season to the next, but for 2022-2023 there is just one itinerary, and it's a good one!

Most other similan liveaboard trips are four days & nights (4D/4N) and your trip ends in the afternoon of the final day, after diving in the morning.

But for Camic you get an extra night on board 4D/5N), and that includes delicious dinner & breakfast. Then you leave the boat the following morning and don't need to stay in a hotel to 'off-gas' if you are flying soon. The itinerary enables everyone to safely fly as soon as lunchtime on the same day that they leave the boat.

The link below has more details about Camic's Similan itineraries.

The itineraries below are the most-common for each trip, but these can sometimes be changed for a number of reasons. Small changes are made due to weather & sea conditions, special marine life sightings, overcrowded dive sites, local-authorities' instructions, and the needs & requests of the paying guests. The safety & comfort of all guests is most important at all times.

There is a wide range of diving courses that can be completed while you enjoy cruising around the crystal-clear waters of the Similan and Surin Islands. The unbeatable prices are inclusive of materials & certification. Please take a look at the table below and be sure to let us know in advance about any onboard PADI diving courses that you are interested in. In most cases, it is possible at short notice. But to ensure the materials are in your preferred language and the instructor will be available at the perfect time and for the right dives of your cruise, it is a good idea to book, or at least enquire, before the trip.

Please note that the dives are not ‘extra to the cruise.’ They are part of your chosen cruise package, but you will be taught by a qualified and experienced PADI instructor for that many of your Camic liveaboard cruise dives.

It was a great stay on the Camic. The crew and dive guides are very attentive and make an effort and are always up for a good time. Since it is a comparatively small boat, it was very easy to get in touch with the others. If I could, I would go out again immediately. It was my first and certainly not the last LiveAboard!

Our trip with the mv Camic was fantastic. Jamie from notroublesjustbubbles did a great job in planning and was always available for questions about transportation to the boat and transportation back to the hotel. He was just as good at advising us on whether to do an AOWD course. In the end we did the course and did not regret it. Dennis our instructor and guide taught us everything more than well. The atmosphere on the ship w as great, great people, great crew, delicious food. With 12 divers and 3 guides on board it was just great. I would always recommend the MV Camic and a booking through No Troubles Just Bubbles.

Amazing trip. Our first liveaboard so we wanted a small group. The Camic was perfect. All of the staff including the boat boys, kitchen staff and dive team were so friendly and wonderful to be around. They catered for my dietary requirement very well. Our dive guide Toun was great and explained everything/ answered any questions we had.

The trip was amazing. Great value for money. All the staff on the boat were extremely friendly and Jamie was a massive help with everything, he even helped us find dive watches the day before our trip.

Fantastic! My first time on a livaboard and an awesome experience! A really great way to do some intensive diving. The staff and crew were helpful and friendly, the instructors were calm, experienced and knowledgable. I felt completely comfortable in their hands, especially considering I hadnt done much diving over the years. The aquatic life was phenomenal and I will treasure the memories forever! If you are a keen diver thi s is a must!

Fab dive trip on the Camic with Denis and Tik. The Similan islands never disappoint even after 20+ years! Saw a baby whale shark and narrowly missed a much larger one which another group did see. Will be coming back soon...

It was truly amazing!! Thanks Jamie, Dennis, Tik and the rest of the Camic team!!! After Jamie arranged a nice live aboard for me last year, I knew who to contact this year.. After some advise and tips from Jamie I picked my 5D5N live aboard. The MV Camic departed in the evening. The next morning it was time for our first dive with dive guides Dennis and Tik. The enthusiasm of them and knowledge about the dive sites made the t rip both, exciting and interesting. The Thai boat crew was very helpful with getting in and out the water with every dive. In between the dives the cooks did a great job in serving a variety of nice food. About the diving itself: the Andaman Sea is beautiful anyhow, but this year I am happy to say I saw manta’s for the first time in my life. At Koh Bon two of them passed by several times. What an experience!! Impressive???????? Is there something to complain about as well? Beside a toilet that did not flush that well and a lack of freshly brewed coffee, no. And to be honest this was compensated well by all other positive experiences. Once again, Thanks Dennis, Tik, Camic crew and Jamie for this amazing trip!

An awesome trip surrounded by professionals and fun instructors. We opted for the 3 days live aboard, next time we will stay longer! Our instructors were Michiel, Jumbo, and Ronaldo, all brilliants, and adapted to our beginner level!
