MV Mandarin Queen 9 is one of the newest and most luxurious liveaboards operating in Thailand, offering divers a premium experience exploring the beautiful Andaman Sea. Launched in 2023, this modern boat is designed with comfort and functionality in mind, ensuring guests enjoy both relaxation and world-class diving. At 37 meters in length and 8 meters wide, MV Mandarin Queen 9 provides ample space across four decks, accommodating up to 26 guests in 13 well-appointed cabins. Each cabin comes with air conditioning, private en-suite bathroom, television, and other thoughtful touches providing a true home-away-from-home experience. There are two master cabins with queen-size beds and stunning sea views, as well as twin cabins available on both the upper and lower decks, catering to different group sizes and preferences.
Guests aboard MV Mandarin Queen 9 can expect a wide range of facilities to enhance their journey. The spacious sundeck features a Jacuzzi, allowing for ultimate relaxation between dives, while shaded areas provide comfort from the tropical sun. A large indoor lounge area is equipped with a television, music system, PlayStation and Nintendo, ensuring entertainment options for everyone. The boat also caters to underwater photographers with a dedicated camera room that includes individual workstations and rinse tanks. Dining is an essential part of the experience, with delicious Thai and Western meals served buffet-style, along with snacks, tea, coffee, and soft drinks available throughout the day. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available upon request, ensuring all dietary needs are met.
Diving with MV Mandarin Queen 9 is a seamless experience, thanks to a well-equipped dive platform with four showers and two tender boats for easy access to dive sites. The tender boats are brand-new, and different from donghies that most other Similan liveaboards use. From Mandarin Queen's tenders you can enter the water by a forward giant stride, not a backwards roll. This is safer and more comfortable. Also, the tenders have tank slots, to ensure safety crossing to the dive site. Nitrox fills are provided free of charge for certified divers, enhancing safety and enjoyment during repetitive dives. Transfers to and from Phuket hotels or the airport are included, ensuring a hassle-free start and end to the journey.
This vessel is also available for private charter, making it an excellent option for dive groups or families seeking a more personalized experience. With its modern facilities, attentive crew, and access to some of the best dive sites in Thailand, MV Mandarin Queen 9 stands out as a top choice for divers seeking both adventure and luxury at sea. Whether you are an experienced diver or just beginning your underwater journey, this liveaboard promises an unforgettable trip filled with exploration, comfort, and stunning marine life.
