This boat is not running trips for the 2019-2020 season
Bunmee D was the latest addition to our fleet of day trip diving boats. Every day it was supposed to sail to Richelieu Rock, from Kura Buri Pier. But it has moved to Phuket until further notice.
The boat is large and comfortable, with easily enough space for guests to relax, chat, enjoy delicious meals and dive safely from. This applies to the journey from the mainland as well as the lunch break.
Richelieu Rock is easily Thailand’s best diving site, and it’s therefore very popular. Bunmee D’s Richelieu Rock day trips are incredibly good value.
Because Bunmee D is designed for comfort, it can’t compete with the speedboats for the time it takes to get there from the mainland. Therefore, the boat leaves from Kura Buri Pier, which is much nearer to Richelieu Rock than the Khao Lak piers are. Although transfers by road from Khao Lak hotels to Kura Buri Pier are longer than to the Khao Lak piers, Bunmee D’s team uses a luxury minivan to ensure that the journey is very comfortable. Also, compared to the Richelieu Rock day trip speedboats on which it’s very hard to sit comfortably, walk around or have a conversation with the person sitting next to you on Bunmee D you can easily walk around, chat, eat and even sunbathe on the roof.
