Titan Triggerfish (Balistoides viridescens) - Marine Life - Liveaboard Diving

Titan Triggerfish

The Titan Triggerfish is quite an infamous fish, due to its behaviour around scuba divers. It's the largest of the Triggerfish species, and certainly the most aggressive. They fiercely guard their nests and will swim at and attack anything or anyone that comes with the conical-shaped zone directly above each nest. In general (when not nesting) this are interesting and colourful fish to meet on the reef, posing not harm or risk to divers.
